A Brief FLAILSNAILS Announcement

The pieces of the legendary Rod of Seven Parts have been hidden in seven different FLAILSNAILS campaigns.

All FLAILSNAILS players are welcome to participate in this multiversal scavenger hunt. In fact, on behalf of the referees involved I double dog dare you to come get it.

We humbly request that all other FLAILSNAILS referees forbear placing the Rod in their own campaign, but please be prepared in case someone shows up to your game with some fraction of it.

Redistribute this announcement as you please.

I'm not a FAILSNAILS player but I wish I was, because this just sounds so incredible.

    1. No violation I can see. There's at leasy 7 campaigns where the Rod I mention is legit. I can't make any promises for the universe down the street.

  4. In that case, you find a guy named Rod separated into seven parts. Your quest: Assemble him!

This is one of the big cool things about FLAILSNAILS. I was hoping something like this would come up.

Jeff, do you think you could make recordings of some of your online sessions? I doubt I'll ever get a chance to play, but would love to see how these games play out.

  8. I'd love to play in FLAILSNAILS if it wasn't for the time difference.

I have a FLAILSNAILS question I don't recall being answered elsewhere: is there an accepted ruling how do clerics and paladins work between campaign worlds? If a cleric of Pelor goes to a world ruled by the Olympian gods, does Pelor cut a deal with Apollo for him to act as a temporary service provider? Can gods grant spells across universes? Or is he be cut off from spell casting during his stay?

    1. I just assume the spells and whatnot work. If you want an explanation then in my campaign Pelor is a little know saint.

  11. Rod is part German, part robot and part-time. The other parts are where the fun starts. Sounds awesome.
